Hotel Exedra Boscolo in Milano The Exedra is the first "urban hotel" in Milan, a luxury hotel that is however open to the city, becoming a point of reference for a number of initiatives, a meeting space and communication centre for tourists, businessmen and even for the Milanese themselves: this is the idea at the heart of the Exedra, which opens up many of its common areas to the public, and not only to hotel residents.

The position is highly advantageous: the hotel is in fact located in the heart of the city at a stone's throw from Piazza San Babila, Via Montenapoleone, the Scala and Duomo, and is mainly directed (but not only) at the world of fashion, design, and art that gravitates around this area. The Exedra is the fruit of the visionary talent of Architect Italo Rota, who has completely rethought the building on Corso Matteotti formerly housing the IMI Bank: its shapes, solutions and colours are distinctly unique in the hotel world.

There are no two rooms alike in the hotel, signifying the concept of ultimate personalisation in service: a stay at the Exedra thus becomes a unique experience for each guest. Boscolo and Rota's idea of an "urban hotel" recaptures a long and prestigious tradition in modern Italian and specifically Milanese architecture, which recalls the works of Gio Ponti. But it is the hotel in general that represents a combination of many aspects of "Made in Italy" excellence in the design, furnishings, technology and materials. The opening was also supported by an advertising campaign run by the Cernuto Pizzigoni & Partners Agency in Milan.

THE SERVICES The hotel numbers over one hundred and fifty rooms from the superior rooms to the presidential suite, with prices ranging from 800 to 7.000 Euro a night. Given the specific configuration of the building with its curved flow, every room is different from the others. Guests may choose from among three restaurants: one dedicated to "bolliti" and roasts, one to local seafood, and the third international restaurant on the eighth floor boasting a terrace and views of the Duomo.

To further enrich the restaurants on offer is the "lambruscheria" managed by the F&De Group srl: an ideal place for undertaking a sensorial journey through the wine and food traditions of the Paduan region, guided by a sophisticated and original reworking of ancient and simple recipes, and an important restoration of the nectar of the wild labrusca dating back to ancient times. Events and initiatives directed at food and wine tasting and appreciation will be held in the exclusive champagnerie. Partner of the opening event is GH Mumm.

The SPA SUISSE designed by Simone Micheli is a true pearl. Laid out over 600 m2, plastic and fluid forms, oval seating, video projections and relaxing sounds will pamper guests, who can go from the swimming pool and waterfall with a wellness circuit to the sauna, Turkish bath and one of the six massage rooms. Included among the treatments on offer is a peeling using an elixir of champagne and rose petals, and a beauty treatment using ultrasound technology. The restaurants, champagnerie, lambruscheria and lounge bar are open 24 hours a day and are also open to the outside public.
