Bangkok nightlife: fogo vivo brazilian restaurant in bangkok Brazilian Churrascaria Latest Addition to Bangkok Dining Scene. Bangkok's extensive list of dining options expanded still further with the grand opening of 'FOGO VIVO' Brazilian Churrascaria & Bar, which offers authentic, all-you-can-eat Brazilian barbecue.

'FOGO VIVO' means 'live fire' and refers to both the method of cooking as well as the passion for life that is so evident within the Brazilian character. There is no printed menu at 'FOGO VIVO'; guests see all items before choosing. The all-you-can-eat pricing encourages guests to experiment and try new items. The meal begins with a trip to the extensive salad bar. A wide assortment of traditional Brazilian dishes are served at the table, including cheese bread, Gaucho rice, potatoes, and fried bananas. Barbecue items are continuously brought to each table where the staff carves freshly grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and fish for each guest.

Chef Felicio Barboza de Souza explained 'In churrascaria, you must start with the very best meats, poultry and seafood since traditionally items are not marinated, just lightly seasoned and grilled.'

The Bar at 'FOGO VIVO', located on the ground floor, offers an extensive selection of cigars, single malt whiskeys, and wines by the glass. Open from mid-day to late evening, The Bar at 'FOGO VIVO' is an ideal after work meeting point or stop for before or after dinner drinks.

'FOGO VIVO' provides all the elements of a traditional churrascaria restaurant: festive atmosphere, all-you-can-eat pricing, specializing in barbecue meats, poultry, and seafood. Barbecue items are served continuously throughout your meal and carved at the table directly from the roasting skewer onto your plate.

According to general manager Francesco Greco, 'The heart of churrascaria is always the barbecue and beef, lamb, pork, chicken, fish, and prawn barbecue are available everyday.' Specific cuts of meat, as well as fish and seafood items, will change daily.

FOGO VIVO Brazilian Churrascaria & Bar is open daily for lunch & dinner, and is located on the ground floor, President Tower Arcade. Entrance and valet parking is available between Gaysorn Plaza and InterContinental Hotel. Ample self parking is also available. Three minute walk from Chitlom skytrain station. For reservations, call 02 656 0384, email info@fogovivo.com or visit www.fogovivo.com.
