Liu Xu is absolutely one of the most promising names in the world of fashion modeling. We interviewed her and tried to get to know a little more about her personal life, professional ambitions, interests. Here what she told Adversus.

How old are you, and what are your measurements?
18.height:180 / bust:80 / waist:60 / hips:84 / shoes:39

What did you want to become, in your life, before becoming a model?
My ambition is to become a fashion designer.

How did you start your modeling career?
Took part in ELITE MODEL LOOK China & World 2008.

Where are you based?
Beijing. I study in Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology.

Do you remember your first fashion show, and your first professional photo shoot?
Last year I become the opening model of Phillip Lim Beijing show. It impressed me a lot. I was on the GRAZIA China cover with other models. That's my first time on a magazine's cover.

Who is your favorite fashion designer?
Vera Wang. I was on her show in the last NY fashion week.

Who is your favorite Chinese fashion designer?
China has so many wonderful fashion designer now. I cannot say which one is my favorite.

Are you a shopping addict, and if yes, what do you like to buy?
Actually I am not a shopping addict, just like to surf the internet or watch TV at home.

Your favorite city for shopping?
I think either Paris or Milan.

Let's talk about makeup. Which makeup and beauty products do you always have with you even when you travel?
Masks.

Your opinion about plastic surgery
That's not nature. I won't do this.

Who are your best friends in the fashion world?
Many models take good care of me because I am younger among them. And we become good friend then.

What is the one thing you really do not like about modeling?
As I am a new model now, I haven't find anything that I do not like about modeling.

Where, in the world, do you like to go when you have the opportunity to take a short holiday and relax?
Greece.
