Interview with Jeff Ginsburgh, Art Director TONI&GUY, Magna Plaza (Amsterdam). We talk about the latest hair trends for men for the Fall winter 2012 2013 season.

What are the most eye-catching hair trends for winter 2012 2013 for the men? What is the novelty of this season?
Fashion in general is looking back to more opulent and fun times in the face of global recession. For men hair is being worn classic (think 1920's and the Great Gatsby). Undercuts and strong lines bring the style bang up to date. The back and sides are worn short, strong and sharp with length on top. The style is transient and can be worn forward and soft or slicked back and arranged in a quiff.

Which haircut cut do you prefer at this moment for men?
Somewhere between a classic rockabilly look and a Berliner style techno feel, Sharpe, stylish and ultra modern,

Are bangs and locks still fashionable for the man?
In general hair is being worn longer on the top. Styled to the side or swept back with undercut disconnection. Bangs if worn are generally being worn this way with length styled forward from the crown and the strong lines of the back and sides are mirrored with a heavy blunt bang.

What kind of haircut / hairstyle would you recommend to young men who want to be Trendy? And the thirties or forties who must comply the Dress code of their work?
Because the current trend is harking back to richer times hair is being worn classic and therefore the style is suitable for both work and play. Younger men can wear longer length through the top but the feeling of classic sharpness makes the seasons look more wearable for the most.
